Dear Parents and Caregivers,
This newsletter is an update on the current situation with Corona (Covid 19) Virus measures. The school is following Education Department and Health Department advice on managing the Covid 19 situation.
Copies of previous newsletters which were issued by email are available on the School’s website. Further updates will be provided as necessary by email and/or text then posted to the website and FaceBook.
This week the school has been completing planning for the change of delivery of education which will occur over the next week. Connect accounts have been updated and checked. Curriculum content is being prepared and updated in Connect. Other software systems which will assist with the implementation of the change are being tested. One of the tests was with the School Board who met online yesterday. The platform used for this meeting is also being trialled with classes.
As the changes are implemented the details of how to access the curriculum will be provided to everyone. Connect can at present be slow but this is due to the extra traffic as resources are being prepared for the change-over. Please bear with us during this time, it should improve once this preparation load eases.
