School Update on COVID-19 3/4/2020

Dear Parents and Caregivers, This newsletter is an update on the current situation with Corona (Covid 19) Virus measures. The school is following Education Department and Health Department advice on managing the Covid 19 situation. Copies of previous newsletters which were issued by email are available on the School’s website. Further updates will be provided as necessary by email and/or text then posted to the website and FaceBook. The school website provides the latest news from the school about the current situation. The school will be moving to online from Monday to test the provision of curriculum services. If any issues arise please report these to our Help Desk. I will reiterate the following information reading arrangements for the remainder of Term 1: Monday 30 March to Friday 3 April • All children who attend school will be taught as normal. Final week of Term – Monday 6 April to Thursday 9 April • Students who attend will be supervised, but not taught normal lessons. • Teachers and education assistants will prepare teaching programs for Term 2. Term 2 – commencing Tuesday 28 April • At this stage arrangements for Term 2 have not been finalised. The State Government is working on developing a longer term education model for Term 2 and beyond in response to COVID-19.
